Founded in 1936 by an Italian immigrant, Milano Direct has established a long tradition of quality products, superior design content and fine craftsmanship.
Throughout its history, the company's products were made one at time by old world craftsmen in its Chicago factory and were available to the public exclusively through fine quality furniture and lighting retailers, interior design professionals and lamp and furniture departments of the finest department stores in America. The “Milano” name stands for the pinnacle of quality craftsmanship, extraordinary design and unsurpassed reliability.

For the last 68 years, the company has designed, manufactured and marketed these proprietary home accent products under the Milano Designs™ and Emporium Milano™ trademarks. The creation of Milano Direct™ is the culmination of our 68 years of experience in the home furnishings industry.
Our goal is to increase our distribution and make these products available to a vast majority of U.S. consumers at a fraction of historic retail prices. In most cases, lighting and accessories in the Milano Direct Collection are 40% to 60% less than current retail prices.
With all its products handcrafted exclusively by artisans, Milano Direct remains true to design integrity, quality control, and unparalleled service. Products are available exclusively through Milano Direct Design Consultants.
Can consumers order products directly from the company?
No. All product orders must be placed through a Milano Direct Design Consultant or directly from the Consultant’s MilanoDirect.com website.
How do I place an order?
The order placement process is very simple. Once you reach the Design Consultants website, click on the Collection tab. This will take you to the Collections Page where you will find a list of all of the individual product collections available from Milano Direct.
If you click on the name of each collection a preview of products in that collection will appear. To view more, click on the link to “view the entire collection” and you will be taken to the section in the website catalog that contains the complete collection you have requested. You may now scroll through all of the item in the collection.
If you would like to see a larger image or to get detailed specifications on a particular item, click the “view” link and you will be taken to the product shopping cart where you can elect to get “More Info” or immediately purchase by clicking the “Buy Now“ button.
If you elect to “Buy Now” your item will be added to your shopping cart and you will have the option to continue shopping or checkout and complete your purchase. You may add as many items as you like while your shopping cart before checking out.
How are shipping and handling charges calculated?
Shipping and handling charges are based on the size, weight and destination zone of the product ordered. Milano Direct uses UPS for most shipments. Products sent via UPS that have dimensions greater than expected for their weight are classified as Oversize and additional charges apply.
What are your Shipping & Handling Charges?
The shipping and handling charge is designated to compensate our company for the services we provide that enable our customers the convenience of ordering from our catalog and Consultant websites and receiving direct-delivery of our products, including processing your order, packaging and shipping your purchases, as well as related overhead costs associated with these services.
How can I cancel or change an order I placed online?
We will do everything possible to accommodate order changes and cancellations. In an attempt to provide the very best service possible, we try to ship your orders as quickly as possible.
In most cases, orders ship within 24 to 72 hours. Naturally, should an ordered item already have left the warehouse and be en route to you, it is out of our power to make any order adjustments. Should that be the case, we will be more than happy to work with you through our Exchange program to satisfy your needs.
What's your guarantee?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receipt for an exchange, credit or refund (excluding shipping and handling fees). All products are guaranteed for one year against defects in material and workmanship.
